At AVIVA PILATES, we offer in studio and virtual private appointments. We take the time to understand your body as well as your fitness goals. Our appointments are 55 minutes in length, complete with an initial, postural assessment, and the development of a customized Pilates program.
Utilizing a variety of Pilates equipment, props, and repertoire, our instructors will structure each appointment to keep you mentally engaged, physically challenged, and accountable to your goals. At the conclusion of your appointment, you’ll be encouraged to follow up with a home program, specially designed by our instructors to accelerate your progress.
At AVIVA PILATES, duets are great for friends or couples who want to improve their fitness together. Appointments are 55 minutes in length, complete with an initial discussion about your goals, a postural assessment, and the development of a customized Pilates program. Utilizing a variety of Pilates equipment, props, and repertoire, our instructors will structure each appointment to keep you mentally engaged, physically challenged, and accountable which will have you pushing each other to work harder to reach your goals.
In this class, you will learn how to achieve a total body workout emphasizing your “core” in each move that you do. We use specialized equipment called the Reformer and incorporate the Mat fundamentals.
You will develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability all at the same time. This class is perfect for a beginner or someone who is experienced and wants to deepen their knowledge and form in their current routine.
We incorporate the Pilates ring, small weights, bands, blocks, small balls into your workout. The goal is to ensure a fun workout in each class that will challenge your body in new and different ways.
If you prefer to create your own group for Group Class you can book the studio for a Private Group Class. This is a closed class only offered to your group. You can choose from Pilates Mat, Reformer, Barre, Ballet and Belly dancing as well as personal training and teen programs. You must have three minimum (maximum five) for this option.
In this class, you will begin with a warm-up, then a sequence of upper-body exercises. Next, you will use the ballet barre and your body weight for resistance to focus on the thigh and seat muscles. We include resistance bands and balls to challenge the work to build strength, balance and flexibility and ending with a soothing stretch to cool down.
In ballet class we focus on placement, alignment, flexibility and musicality through a blend of traditional ballet techniques and contemporary movement theory. Basic ballet concepts, vocabulary and skills are introduced through standard combinations at the barre and in the center.
Yoga is a combination of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. There are different styles to this practice that offer different benefits. We offer Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Meditation.
